We are excited to share that the COREu project was prominently featured at the CCS Capacity Building Workshop organized by the Global CCS Institute on September 25, 2024, in Athens. Our project partner, ELPEDISON S.A., presented their significant contributions to Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) technologies, aligning with their ESG targets.

During the workshop, ELPEDISON S.A. detailed the objectives and activities of the COREu project. Under the COREu EU Project, captured CO2 from the 6-month operation of an innovative pilot plant in Elpedison’s power plant in Thisvi will be compressed and stored in tanks in order to be transported and injected to Prinos carbon storage facility.
