The COREu Project was present in the 85th Glass Problems Conference and Symposium, held in Toledo, Ohio, USA, from September 16th to 19th. This prestigious event brings together industry leaders, researchers, and innovators to discuss the latest advancements and challenges in the glass industry.

We are excited to share that the COREu project was prominently featured at the CCS Capacity Building Workshop organized by the Global CCS Institute on September 25, 2024, in Athens. Our project partner, ELPEDISON S.A., presented their significant contributions to Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) technologies, aligning with their ESG targets.

The University of Bologna (Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna) has conducted a significant study on the quantitative risk assessment (QRA) of the Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) value chain, as part of the COREu EU Project (CO2 Routes Across Europe). This research is crucial for developing safe, efficient, and sustainable CO2 transportation networks across Europe, which are essential for achieving climate goals and ensuring a sustainable future.

COREu was prominently showcased at the CareerContacts24 event held at Hochschule Karlsruhe (HKA) from October 21-25, 2024. Our project partner, Steinbeis Europa Zentrum, represented COREu, highlighting its innovative approach to carbon capture and storage (CCS) and its potential impact on reducing CO2 emissions across Europe.
