We are delighted to share that the COREu project was prominently featured at the European Gas Technology Conference 2024 (EGATEC 2024), held on June 18-19, 2024 in Hamburg. This prestigious event brought together high-level representatives from the European gas industry, universities, companies, and various stakeholders to discuss the latest advancements and challenges in the field of gas technologies, with a special focus on energy transition and decarbonization efforts.

The COREu project was selected for an impulse talk and poster exhibition, showcasing its goals and objectives. Francesco Finotti from SINTEF, presented the project on stage, followed by a panel discussion on the topic “Industry Decarbonization and CO2 Value Chain” (Topic 7). This session highlighted the innovative and original research being conducted under the COREu project, emphasizing work in progress, upcoming research challenges, and new directions in the field.

In addition to the impulse talk, project partners SINTEF and GERG also presented the COREu project during the poster exhibition. Attendees had the opportunity to engage with the project’s objectives and learn more about its impact on the industry. The poster exhibition provided a platform for in-depth discussions and networking, furthering the reach and influence of the COREu project.

About EGATEC 2024 EGATEC 2024, organized under the auspices of MARCOGAZ and GERG - European Gas Research Group, is a key event for the gas industry.
