On June 15, 2024, COREu was thrilled to participate in the Klimafestival, a hub for innovative ideas and sustainable solutions. Our project partner, Steinbeis Europa Zentrum, with over three decades of experience in innovation consulting, highlighted COREu’s dedication to building a cross-border CCS infrastructure. This initiative aims to connect emitters and storage sites across Europe, enhance the Technology Readiness Level of CCS technologies, define economically viable business models, and advance critical technologies for the entire CCS value chain.

With the collaboration of over 40 key partners from industry and science, COREu is poised to establish an innovative framework fostering a shared commitment towards the accelerated deployment of safe and effective CO2 transport and storage.

The Klimafestival offered attendees the chance to explore informational stalls, engage in interactive activities, and participate in guided discussions. It was a fantastic opportunity to showcase groundbreaking climate solutions and strengthen connections between the community and various organizations.
